The 32-inch AW3226Q uses LG Display’s RGB-stripe Tandem WOLED technology, while the smaller AW2527HX uses Samsung Display’s fifth-generation Penta Tandem QD-OLED panel.Alienware AW3226Q: 4K 165Hz WOLEDThe Alienware AW3226Q is a 31.5-inch flat 4K monitor with a 3840 × 2160 resolution and 165Hz refresh rate. It uses an RGB-stripe subpixel layout instead of the traditional WOLED arrangement with a white subpixel. The display also has a glossy coating and supports 10-bit color with 99% DCI-P3 coverage.1 / 41 / 4The AW3226Q reaches 250 nits in SDR and up to 1000 nits at a 3% APL window in HDR. It carries VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification and supports HDR10 and Dolby Vision. Alienware is using a 24.5-inch 1920 × 1080 Samsung QD-OLED panel capable of running at 560Hz. The RGB-stripe layout is intended to address the color-fringing and text-clarity issues associated with some earlier QD-OLED subpixel layouts.The panel is rated for 1500 nits peak brightness and carries DisplayHDR True Black 600 certification. Alienware also lists 0.03 ms G2G response time, 99% DCI-P3 coverage and factory calibration with Delta E below 2.
