Overwatch World Cup Cheer Rally event includes esports skins galore

The Overwatch World Cup Cheer Rally event lets players complete three regional passes for exclusive esports skins and loot boxes. The Overwatch World Cup Cheer Rally event is now live, allowing players to support their favorite esports region for some special rewards like skins for Venture, Sierra, Wuyang, Juno, Freja, and Hazard. World Cup Cheer Rally event screenshot (Image credit: esports.gg) Overwatch World Cup Cheer Rally event The Overwatch World Cup Cheer Rally event runs from Sept. 1 to Sept. 15, giving players about two weeks to complete new challenges for rewards such as Overwatch esports loot boxes, player icons, player titles, and skins. The daily challenges require you to complete some Overwatch matches, earn assists, and heal, deal, or boost damage. Meanwhile, the weekly challenges involve playing 25 and 40 games in total. There are also milestone challenges for each region’s Overwatch Cheer Cup Rally Pass. The participating Overwatch esports regions are the Americas (AMER), Asia, and Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). The top teams from these regions get to duke it out at BlizzCon 2026 this month. This is also known as “Cheer Currency,” which can be earned through the BlizzCon 2026 Twitch Drops as well. Think of these as votes for each region. “Every vote contributes to the competition to find out the most popular conference,” Blizzard Entertainment explained. “The winning conference will unlock a conference-themed weapon charm and a special Easter egg in various maps!” Overwatch World Cup Cheer Rally rewards Here are all of the different World Cup Cheer Rally event rewards. The AMER region features OWCS Home and Away skins for Venture and Sierra while Asia gets esports skins for Wuyang and Juno.
